Who Are We?
HIMKI, an acronym for the Indonesian Furniture and Craft Industry Association, is a national organization that brings together business players in the furniture and handicraft sectors across Indonesia.

HIMKI stands as a bridge between industry players, the government, and the global market to develop the competitiveness of Indonesian products so they can compete on the international stage.

HIMKI is not just a business association, but also a symbol of unity for thousands of Indonesian entrepreneurs, artisans, and creative workers.
What We Do
HIMKI is the voice, eyes, and ears of the Indonesian furniture and craft industry. We are active and responsive to issues impacting the industry.
We promote the views of our members to the Government and relevant stakeholders, with input based on their direct experience. We provide legal and policy advice to our members regarding applicable regulations.

HIMKI also discusses and monitors innovation opportunities in the furniture sector, and tracks relevant opportunities in national and international funding programs (such as training, research, product development, etc.).
What We Strive For
Through various advocacy efforts and support we provide, HIMKI and all its members highly uphold national values and a grand vision for the industry. We strive for the creation of a conducive market, wider trade opportunities, and the development of sustainable and circular business models.

We are also fully committed to protecting intellectual property rights and designs, collaborating with relevant parties such as the Directorate General of Intellectual Property, for the advancement and competitiveness of the Indonesian furniture and craft industry.
HIMKI Flagship Program
IFEX

Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) is the largest B2B (Business to Business) based furniture and crafts exhibition in Indonesia which is a collaboration between the Indonesian Furniture and Crafts Industry Association (HIMKI) as Host and Dyandra Panggangndo as Co Host. Held every year in March.

The products that will be exhibited at IFEX include
Household furniture, such as sofas, tables, chairs, beds, cupboards, etc. Office furniture, such as work desks, work chairs, filing cabinets, etc. Hotel and restaurant furniture, such as dining tables, dining chairs, hotel beds, etc. Garden furniture, such as garden chairs, garden tables, swings, etc.
Handicrafts, such as wall hangings, decorative lamps, flower vases, etc.
Apart from product exhibitions, IFEX will also hold various other events, such as: Seminars and workshops on the furniture and crafts industry. Business matching between exhibitors and potential buyers. Furniture and craft design competition. Indonesian cultural performance.

IFEX 2024 will be held on 29 February - 3 March 2024 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
ASE

The I'm Ready to Export (ASE) program specifically aims to increase the export capacity and capability of SMEs to international markets. This program is supported by the government through the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy/Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, National Crafts Councilsional (DEKRANAS), and HIMKI.
LBEC

Local Business Export Coaching (LBEC) is a coaching program for unique Home Decoration businesses made from wood, rattan and other natural fibers (apart from furniture products). Participants who take part in this program have been curated and assessed has the capacity to export to the European market. This activity is the result of synergy between the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, DEKRANAS and HIMKI, supported by CBI Netherlands.
Overseas Exhibition

To support the expected export growth, HIMKI is active in participating in various exhibition events including the Cicling ASEAN Furniture Show (March), Domestic Market (July), Connect Furniture Expo China, Shanghai (September)
